Second Batch of 10 GENMA Eco-Friendly RTGs Shipped to RSGT Bangladesh

Sep 29, 2025

We have reached another significant milestone in our ongoing project with RSGT Bangladesh: the second batch of 10 RTGs has been successfully loaded and shipped. This marks a further step forward in modernizing port operations.

This shipment follows the safe arrival and ongoing assembly of the first batch of 4 RTGs. The initial unites were shipped in knock-down condition and are currently being assembled on-site. In contrast, the latest batch of 10 RTGs is being shipped fully erected and loaded via Ro-Ro method, ensuring faster deployment and commissioning.

RSGT Bangladesh is a subsidiary of Red Sea Gateway Terminal International, a global port and terminal operator. These advanced RTGs are part of RSGT Bangladesh’s terminal expansion and modernization plan. The cranes are equipped with state-of-the-art hybrid battery technology that significantly reduces carbon emissions. Additionally, they feature a comprehensive suite of safety, ergonomic, and smart operational enhancements, supporting RSGT’s commitment to building a more sustainable and environmentally friendly port.

We would like to extend our gratitude to RSGT for their continued partnership and trust in GENMA’s technology. Together, we are driving the future of smart and sustainable port operations.

Stay tuned for more updates as we progress!
